The Engine radiator, also known as the engine water tank, is a key component of the water-cooled engine cooling system. The radiator consists of an upper water chamber, a lower water chamber, and a radiator core.
There is a water filling port on the top of the water chamber of the radiator, through which cooling water is injected into the entire cooling system and covered with a radiator cover. The water inlet and outlet pipes are respectively installed in the upper water chamber and the lower water chamber. The water inlet and outlet pipes are respectively connected by rubber hoses and the outlet pipe of the Cylinder head and the water inlet pipe of the water pump. No water leaks when there is a small amount of displacement between the devices. A shock-absorbing pad is generally installed under the radiator to prevent the radiator from being damaged by vibration. There is a water drain switch on the outlet pipe of the radiator lower water chamber, and the cooling water in the radiator can be drained if necessary.
The hot water of the engine water jacket is divided into many small sections from top to bottom or laterally, and dissipates its heat to the surrounding air. Increase the heat dissipation area and accelerate the cooling of water. After the cooling water passes through the radiator, its temperature can be reduced by 10 to 15°C. In order to eliminate the heat of the radiator as soon as possible, a fan is installed behind the radiator to work with the radiator.
